j LEVIN DISTRICT FIGURES ' Althousrh National Savings deposits have been well in excess of the quota of £316 in each weekly~ period in the Levin area during .July, there has been a disappointTng drop in the period ending Auglust 15, states the postmaster, Mr. i L. A. Whitham. Only £116 was :recorded, which is unusually low :for Levin with its past excellent l record. Employees are urged to support , the group schemes at their place of I work with regular weekly savings. i The children at the Levin School are still making good progress with I their group, and increased deposits ! recently have been- noted with pleasure. v
