Petrol in Containers
Referring . today to the prohibition which had been placed on .the sale of petrol in containers unless a permit had first been obtained, the postmaster, Mr. L. A. Whitham, said that these permits were obtainable from the post office. Those farmers or car owners who required to purchase petrol in containers shoul'd, therefore, .make application to the post office and after the necessary form had been completed they would be issued with a permit.
