WELLINGTON/ August 20. An inerease of 3d per b.ushel i,n the ceiling price of white oats sold by growers for the 1947-48 seas'oh, is announced by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. ■ Cililen. The Minister said the inerease was regarded as a fair assessment of the cost inerease inourred since the earlier price was fixea and was in line with increases given foi wheat and malting barley. The Minister said the price of malting barley was being inereased from 5s 6d to 5s 9d for approved varieties. Other varieties would remain. at the present price.
