From another serviee station the biggest purchase was 200 gallons which cost more than £27. The dangerous goods inspeetors are viewing the rusli on petrol with some concern and an examination of private motor garages and other storage places, especially in congested areas where lires Wttuld endanger life and limb, is likely to be carried out in the nea'r future. The city council 's bylaw forbids the storage of more than SA gallons of petrol for private use without a special liccnce. Offenders are iiable to a line of "£100 aml £25 for every day the offencc eontinues.
