NURSERY PLAY CENTRE

MEETING OF COMMITTEE The usual monthly committee meeting of the Levin Nursery Play Centre was held recently. Mrs. H. B. Burdekin presided over a good attendance of members. Apologies were reeeived from Mesdames J. MacDonald, C. S. Keedwell and W. Davie. It was reported that the play centre has been made more attractive recently by the work of Mr. E. J. Stanley and the boys of the Levin Training Centre in repair- : ing the fenc'e around the tennis , court. The children, were now able : to play o'ut in the sunshine in , absolute safety, and to thoroughly enjoy their sand pit. i Arrangements were made for the children to have something to eat , during the afternoon. It was stated that the play centre would be closing for the , holidays on August 22 and re- ; opening for the third term on September 9.
