GOLDEN WEDDING

MR. AND MRS. F. W. PINK Celebrating 50 years of married life, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Pink held a quiet family gathering at their home in Ferguson Street, Palmerston North, on Monday night in honour of the occasion. Members of their family present were Mr. and Mrs. E. Pink, of Palmerston North, Mrs. L. Hayward (daugh.ter), of Frankton, ..Junctiqn. Another daughter, Mrs. O. S». Bramwell, of Auckland, was unable to make the journey down for the celebrations. Mr. and Mrs. Pink have spent most of • their married life in Levin, Mr. Pink having been in business there for the past 47 years, and have been residing in Palmerston North for just over a year. They were married at Dalefield, Wairarapa, in August 1897, and have one son, two daughters and seven grandchildren.
