WAIROA, Aug. 20. Shortly after 7.30 o'clock this morning a car and truck came into violent collision at the corrier of Clyde Road and Lahore Btreet, resillt/ing in the death of Mrs. Joan Millican Gray, 22, wife of Roy Wiliiam Gray, of Wairoa. . Four others were injured. Winifred Mulvay, 28, wife of Norman Hames Mulvay, of Cambridge, received mutiple injuries and her condition is serious. Guy Wren Hansen, foreman of the Native Housing Department, Wairoa, driver of the truck, suffered lacerations of the face and his condition is fairly serious. The two young" Mulvay children, whose names and ages are unknown at present, suffered from shock, hut their condition is not - serious. -Mulvay, the driver of the car, suffered slight injuries, but was not admitted to hospital.
