THURSDAY AND FRIDAY
MATINEE THURSDAY 2 P.M. Paramount's "Big Town," a PineThomas production starring Philip Reed, Hillary Brooke and Robert Lowery, opens next Thursday at "the Regent Theatre. "Big Town" is the first screen adaptation of the thrilling radio serial that has been entertaining American listeners for the past few years. It deals wth a fighting newspaper editor's ,crusade against crime, vice and oppression in a large city. Tarzan's war cry will be heard again at the Regent Theatre, where the famous ape-man's latest R.K.O.-Radio adventure, "Tarzan and the Leopard Woman" will screen on Thursday and Friday. With Johnny, Weissmuller, Brenda Joyce and little Johnny Sheffield in the stellar roles the film leaves nothing to be desired for. ^Children please note, Tarzan film screens last'at Thursday's matinep.
