New Dutch moves, supported by artillery fire, on three strategic routes tu ihe heart of Republican J'ava, are reported tonight by the Rep-io:ican Army, according to 'ogjakarta radio. The report mentioned attacks ath-b«.So of Dutch-held Salatiaga ..di:i „ towards Surakarta, and of Ambarawa near the oad to Jogjakarta from Semarang. .Nve p-t-ccs, it says, have been at,acked. Dutch forees holding Gombong, 30 rru-„i wv-.., of Jogjakarta on the road from Tjilatjop, have moved south to the coast at Puring and Karnganjar, which have been respectively shelled and reconnoitred.
