THIRD GRADE REP. TRIAL
A third grade Possibles-Probables trial match was the curtain-raiser to the junior representative game at Otaki on Saturday. The gamewas played with a friendly abandon which usually characterises this type of mateh. The first score came when Mounsey went over the line for a good try. Lay did not eonvert. Possibles 3, Probable 0. Then Waaka (Probables) took the ball, tucked it under his arm, sold a dummy to P, Hannan, and went over the line. Gwynn failed to get the extras. Possibles 3, Frobables 3. The next score came during the second half, when P.°Leddra took ohe ball and passed to Bartosh, who sent to I. Juno, and he dived over the line to make the score Possibles 6, Probables 3. After a ruck near the posts Possibles forced to the line and Leddra took the ball and went over. Juno did not eonvert. Possibles 9, Probables 3. Mr. D. J. Oliver carried the whistle.
