when the war came I was Too old to do anything except Join the Home guard and put all I could into War Savings. I strongly supported the idea of a National Savings group in The firm and deposited a pound a week. Five years passed and the other day I saw my pass book -£279 in credit. One of these days will have to refurnish and the wife and I now have what it takes. It shows you doesn't it you've got to save before you can spend. and the National Savings group makes it mighty easy.
