HEPBURN'S NEXT FILM

Katharine Hepburn has accepted the role of the spirited heroine, Regan Berkeley, in the film version of Michael Foster's ' best-seller, "House Above the River," whieh M.-G.-M. is shortly to produce. The story, which concerns the daughter of a small town clergyman who marries the scion of ar aristocratic Southern family, marks Miss Hepburn's return to modern drama after her portrayals in the two period pictures, "The Sea of Grass" and "Song of Love." The portrayal of the strong-willed girl who wins the love of a boy only to fird she must battle century-old traditions before she can hold it is said to afford the star one of the deepest emotional characterisatons of her career.
