YOUNG MAN ON MURDER CHARGE
NEW PLYMOUTH, August 14. Chargecl with the wilful murder at Tututawa j'esterday of Mrs. Georgina Harwood, aged 44, a young mau employed as a worker on the farm o£ Mrs. Harwood 's htisband appeared in the New Plymouth Poliee pourt thid morning and was remanded till August 22. The accused is Herbert Edward Pearce, aged 21, a single man. When. he was charged the police applied for a remand until August 22, and said it was likely that a' further remand would then have to be applied for.
