WOMEN'S SECTION OF R.S.A.

AUGIJST MEETING , There was a fair attendance of members at the usual monthly mpeting of the Women's Section of the R.S.A, held 011 Saturday evening. Motions of sympathy were passed with Mrs. Griffiths and Miss Ritchie, who are ill. Mrs. Campbell was welcomed as a new member. It was decided to forward £10 from the proceeds of the shop day to the R.S.A. parcels for Britain fund. In the baby's petticoat competition Mrs. Third was first, with Mesdames Quinlan and Sell second (equal) . Mrs. Kenny won the bloom competition, with Mrs. Sell second and Mrs. Sinclair third. In a memory test competition arranged by Mrs. J. A. Easton Mrs. Third was the winner. Next month's three competitions will be prettiest handworked handkerchief, best short story to be written usfng the titles of books, and the best bloom. The hostesses for the evening were Mesdames Easton, Johnson and Sell.
