LONDON, Augilst 11. - After the radio-controlled car comes the radio-controlled taxi. Cambridge lias the first radio taxis in Britain, and wherever the cars go , witliin 12 irtilea of the centre of town they are in touch with the offiee. It is elaimed tliat 25 per eent. more work can be done as a result with the same cars and drivers. There is less empty travel/ and quicker direction to new jobs. Each set of transmitting ahd receiving equipment on' a car costs £125, and the iixed station in the effice about £160.
