She is Miss Diana Manu Lyttelton, danghter of the former Eton naster. She is the first woman to holfl this position a't th'e Palace. The ap mintment is welcoffied by journalists if all countries since it is agreed thn t, for many aspects Of the Royal wedding at Westminster Abbey, .a woman X point of view will be indispensable. Another appointuvent to the Press Office is that of Commander Richarrl Colville, R.N., who succeeds Captain LeMs Ritc.hie, R.N., ("BartimeUs") who has retired. Commander Colville is the first cousin of Mr. John Colville who was recently appointed private 'sOeretary to Prilnc'ess Elizabeth.
