Iteeeived Sunday, 7.10 p.m. SYDNEY, August 10. This weelcend is proving tlie worst for criine around Sydney for some time. Thieves stole £1927, mostl.y in smaii cliange, from a caterer's office in tlie Sydney erieket ground. Only £350 worth of money was in 110 tes, the re-sf ■ being in silver and copper. The thieves renioved four heavy wooden cases 2 h feet in length in whieli the money was packed.^ In thfe suburb of Edgeeliif thieves re1110 ved jewellery valued at £500 from a house. Other thefts at widely separat- ' ed suburbs netted the thieves about £200 in money and goods.
