RUSSIAN SEARCH FOR ATOMIC ENERGY
Received SUnday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, August 10. The Berlin Neue Zeitung, the ofiicial German newspaper of the United States Military Government, said the Russians have ordered 20,000 more Germans to be drafted by August 31 to the uranium mipes in Southern Saxony where tens of thousands of German men and women are already digging pitchblende rock for Russian atomic research. The paper predicted that the new draft would inspire a fresh flight of Germans to the western zone.
