EIGHT-LEGGED LAMB BORN AT GISBORNE

GISBORNE, Aug. 11. An eight-legged lamb was born pn Messrs. Hutchlnson Bros.' station during the weekend. It was born alive, but died later. The lamb had a single head and almost a normal rib and brisket. There were four hind legs and two bodies up to the brisket. The two r'orelegs were normal and the other two were attached in a winglike fashion, slightly ih the rear. All the legs were completely hooved and its coat was normal. The animal was taken to the research staiion for examination.
