ATTEMPT TO SET FIRE TO SYNAGOGUE
Received Monday, 9.50 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 10. An unsuccessful attempt was made to set fire to a synagogue in a North London suburb last night by .pushing paper saturated with oil and paint through a ground floor window. Inspector Thomson, of Scctland Yard, found the paper had burned itself out and no damage was done.
