Copyright)

Received Saturday, 10.45 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 8. Field Marshal Lord Montgomery arrived at Lorylon by air today. He said there was. not a word of truth in the suggestion that he had been recalled to deal with the manpower position. Lord Montgomery said he was very satisfied with his trip. He had discussedl training methods with the Australian and New Zealand military leaders. "I had a lot of business to do apart from that. The people of New Zealand and Australia took me round like an express train. They were very good. When I said that things were going a bit too fast, they were very kind about it."
