■ AUCKLAND, Aug. 7. Damage estimated at aboift £25,000 was caused oy a fire'which'Venveloped the premises of Messrs Alex Harvey, Ltd., Parnell, early this morning. The buiiaing was practically (ourned out and the .brigade concentrated on saving an adjoining wool store after • a battle iasting three-quarters of an hour. The' firm manufactures dairy equipment and- much valuable macninery on the ground floor is irreplaceable, whicn will- affeet supplies of imiu'ch- njeeded equipment to dairy farmers. Details of the insurances are not yet available.
