Ike Williams tonight knocked out Bob Montgomery in the sixth round of a scheduled 15 rounds fight for the World 's lightWeight title, at Philadelpliia. Both weighed 133|lbs. The knockout came after Williams had floored Montgomery for the eount of aine in the same round. He then moved in with a barrage of punches to fttilsh the fight after 157 seconds of the sixth round. . The earlier rounds were a gruelling give and take with Williams holding an edge on points. Williams is not the UndispUted World lightweight champion, Montgomery was the New York and Pennsylvania titleholder and Williams held the National Boxing Association title. Tllirty thousand saw the fight.
