School for Foxton Beach

The fact that there were 116 children leaving Foxton Beach to attend school i'n the township every morning was stressed by Mr. W. H. Brown at the monthly meeting of the Fox on Harbour Board yesterday when a letter was received from the Wanganui Education Board inquiring for a suitable site to erect a school at the beach. It was finally resolved to contact the wanganui Education Board requesting representatives to meet meintaers of the Harbour Board and ihake an inspection of the beach for a suitable site.
