AUCKLAND, Aug. 4. A simplilication of the prooedure to which air transport operators in New Zealaqid had to confonn is being sought by Mr. II. II. Galbraith, ehairman of the transport and traffic .forms and documents sub-eommittee of the International Air TranspOrt Association, who arrived on the Pan-Amcrican clipper. He is accompanied by Mr. J. Peak. • Mr. Galbraith said he hoped to bring about a reductiqn in the amount of "red tape" which the New Zealand Government required of passengers and operators. He would discuss matters with Government officials in Wellington and offer suggestions about the method which had been adopted in otKer parts of the world. The object of his organisation, which was representative of all leading airline companies in the world, was to bripg about a sthndardisation of procedure and rates throughout the world, said Mr. Galbraith. Its headquarters were Montrcal, Canada, and it worked very closely with the International Civil Aviation Organisation, also centred in Montreal. By this means it was hoped to make the requirement for passengers, frcight and operators uniforin. Mr. Galbraith "Said he had recently completed a tour of Latin Ameriean countries and as a result there had been an improvement in the services. After leaving New Zealand he and Mr. Peak would make a tour of the Pacifie coastline, calling at Australia, Suva, Honolulu, Shanghai, Toldq, Hong Kong, Manila and possibly Calciitta or Bangkok,
