DEFENCE MISSION TO BURMA

Received Tuesday, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 4. The Burma Office stated that a defence mission consisting of representatives of the three services, under the chairmanship of the Under-Secretary of State for the War Olfice, Mr. John Freeman, is leaving for Burma at the end of this week to discuss defence matters relating to' the transfer of power to Burma.
