Condemriation of those who impeded the transport of New Zealana produce to Britain. was voiced by the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) on Saxurday afternoon when opening the new Auckland Labour Club. He said such persons wero not only hurting the people of the United Kingdom, but were also causing harm to New 'Zcaland which depended so much on the London market-. "Not only is Britain deserving'of all the assistance she gets from countries v nich appreciate what she did for freedom-loving people during the war, but she is also entitled to it, ' ' said Mr. Fraser. "I am sure she will come through and the hest way we can help is to see that our produce gets to Britain as quickly as possible. "I want to say that every person, no matter who he is, who holds up the transport of our produce to Britain is stabbing the Mother Country in tbe back. ' ' A statement that he intended to ask the British G-overnment what assistance it desired from New Zealand was made by the Prime Minister (Mr, Fraser) on Saturday , afternoon. 1 'I propose to ask Mr. Attlee and the British Government how New Zealand can hest assist the United Kingdom out of her present economic distress," said Mr. Fraser.
