AIRLINER OVERDUE
Received Monday, 12.14 a.m. LONDON, August 3, Rriiisk South American Airways reports that a Lancaster crossing the Andes from Buenos Aires to Santiago is overdue with six passerjgers and a British crew, says Reuters. . A York airliner began its flight from London on Wednesday on a weekly service to Chile and took passengers as far as Buenos Aires where the Lancaster took over for the last stage. The passengers comprise two from London and four from Buenos Aires.
