SEARCH FOR MAN WHO SHOT WOMAN
Received Friday, 7,0 p.m. SYDXLY, August 1. A wide search through scrub country is proceeding for a mati who is alleged co have shot Aliss Lorna Rotliery, agecF 20, of Gudal, wliose body was found ,ast night near Cudal about 30 miles from Orange. She had been sliot fhrough the breast and throat. The police, who were notified early this inorning, at once sent search parties into the scrub and set a watch on all roads and railway stations. They say the dead wonian and nifui they are seeking were lone on the farm property at the time of the shooting. The man they seek is carrying a .22 calibre rifle. He has lived in the dis trict all his life and is known as an experienced bushman. The police describe nim as of slight build, clean-shaven and aged about 23 years.
