At'ier ihe men jUmped from the planes the parachutes carrying equipmfent containers fell swutiy, uver»,ook the parachutists and made one paraciiute coliapse. The parachutist crashed to his death. Anotiier parachutist who became enmeshed with a container clung „o it wn-n his arms and legs and iioated to earth. He broke his ankle. A tnird parachutist who was hit by a container escaped uninjured.
