MORE-WORK CONFERENCE CALLED

WELLINGTON, July 30. The Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, has decided to call a conference of all classes and seetions of the country to consider what ean be done to improve industrial relations, increase production and aid Britain. This was announced by the Acting Dominion President of Federated Farmers of New Zealand, Mr. H. E. Blyde, to delegates at the annual conference of the Federation in Wellington. Mr. Blyde said he had just been informed of the deeision whieh was the result of his suggestion to the Prime Minister a few months previously. Mr. Blyde 'wrote to the Prime Minister on March 26 suggestmg such a conference, stating that it could be held on similar lines to the 1928 industrial conference. "
