France, Denmark, CzechosloVakia, China, Syria, India and Argentina have all fecently imposed a eomplete embargo on BtitiSh ear ittlports, and Sweden; Brazil; Norway, Belgium and Peru have imposed sevgi-g i-festric tions. Oue fesult of the inereasing eonstrietion of the market has be-en that the Nuffleld organisation this month switched £1,000,000 wofth of cars intended for F.uropean and South American ^ cbuntries to Austi-alia, South Affica, New Zealhnd and other Commonwealth markets.
