VON NIDA WINS BIG BRITISH GOLF TOURNAMENT

Equalling the British toumament record of 271 for .72 holes, Yon Nida won the North British Bubber Company 's £2000 professional golf tournauient at the Starbeck course. Abe iMitchell established the record at Bristol in 1932. Charlie Ward and V011 Nida were paired together and they had a grand fight over the final 18 holes. At the end of the third round Yon Nida led Ward by two strokes and in the final round they each did 6.8.
