JUDGES DISMISS SAGE KING APPEAL

The appeal of A. Scott for the removal of the disqualification from the horse Sage King because of his joint interest therein was dismissed by the Racing Conference appeal judges on Friday. Mr. W. E. . Leicester. Wellington, appeared for the appellant. The judges were Messers. J. Macfarlane Laing, Masterton, R. J. Murphy, Wellington, and W. A. Iorns, Martinborough. Sage King was automatically disqualified when W. McEwan was disqualified recently for one year by the judical committee of the Foxton Racing Club. The judges ordered the appellant's deposit to be forfeited.
