The .Transport Department's trafflc officer in Levin has been issued with a 1947 super de luxe Patrol car. This is one of a number of these cars which. inspectors have been provided with by the department this year. The car has an up-to-date speaker and electric siren. There is also space provided for a two-way wireless, which will be fitted to all patrol cars in the near future.
