At the monthly stock sale there was a good attendance, with a brisk sale and a total clearance of all classes of stock. Prices were: Fat lambs, 26s 6d, 3s 3d; store lambs, 26s; fat ewes, 26s 6d, 30s; aged ewes in lamb, 21s; weaner heifers, .£5 5s, £5 10s, £6 15s; fat P.A. cows, £10 each; fat mixed cattle, -£7 2s 6d-; fat cows ex-dairy, £11 10s, £11 15s, £8 15s, £7 5s;- otbe ers, £5 to. £8 15s; runners, £6 14s, £6 11s;- springing heifers, £7-, £11 7& 6d; newly ealved heifers, £8 to £11. Good business was done by>Mesdames E. Barber and C. Guerin! and Misses Grace Smith ' and Doreen Ward, of the- W.D.F.F., with their "on the spot" refreshmen.t booth. ;■ v'-
