PERSONAL
The resignation of Mr. C. D. Melville from the- staff of the Horowhenua Eleetric Power Board was received at a meeting of the board yesterday. Mr, Melville has been a member of the staff for over eight •years and his resignation has become necessary for health reasohs. Several members spoke highly of his work during the time he* had been employed by the board, while the" ehairmah, Mr. T--G. Vincent, said that it was with very much regret that the board would. accept his resignation.
