The Air Ministry says that bombs up to 25,0001bs will be used in joint Bri-tish-American Air Force expenments beginning today, against the heavily reinforced U-boat factory building at Farge in the American zone of Germany. The Royal Air Force has conduetcd earlier experiments against similar targets to try to find the bomb which will penetrate deep structures without bursting, c n tirst impact and dissipating the explosive power up>wards. The factory at Farge was not completed in time to be used by the Gcrmans during the war but the Royal Air Force attacked it while it was under construction. War-time bo'inbs made only two small holes in the roof. fhe Americans agreed to cooperate in this ci/ntinuation of the Royal Aii force 's postwar experiments.
