INDOOR BOWLING
On Saturday last the first tburnament conducted by the Levin Indoor Bowling Club was held and great interest was taken in the - games, which were generally' of a good standard. ^ Detailed results were as follows : —Mrs. Lett, Mrs. Forster, C. Walker, J. W. Ward, W„ S. Lett and D. Forster, 6 wins each; W. Scott and K. A. Bowater, 54- wins; Mrs. W. Mudgway, Mrs. C. Walker, W. Mudgway, H. Noble and R. H. Henderson, 5 wins; Mrs. A. Mudgway and J. D. Renkin, 4-| , wins; Mrs. .Renkin and^H." Boulton 3 wins. In the play-off'the winners were Mrs. Forster, W. S. Lett and D. Forster. Games are proving very interesting and there is play in the Druids' Hall on Wednesday and Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
