Nearly all the valuables stoleh were taken from the shop windo'w, and severul factors point to the theft having vbeen hurriedly executed. A quantity of valuable jewellery was not topched, indicaling that the thieves had shown no discr-etioh in what they toqk. In addition, the shop till was robbed of only a portion of-its coritents. A number of expensiVe engagement rings was included in the haul.
