FORMER PREMIER ARRESTED AFTER GUN FIGHT
Received Sundav, 10.46 p.m. RANGOQN, July 20. Mr. U. Saw, ex-premier and leade: of the Myoehit Party, and 19 followers were arrested last night following th> assassination of the Burmese minister? Mr. Ba Maung, Inspector-General 0 the Burma Police, and a poliee party fought a gun battle with Mr. U. Sav. and followers at Mr. Saw's house bbfore Mr. Sawc surrendered. Three members of the Myoehit Party weri killed in the figbt. Mr.. Saw was taken to Insein prison last night and undea sti'png military escort to Rangoqi' •entral gaol this morning.
