NEW PLYMOUTH, July 15. Teachers under the control of the Taranaki Education Board will noi. be required by the board to give lessons to children suffering from infectious diseases and particularly to those suffering from open tirberculosis. The Education Board, in conveying adviee of this deeision to the Taranaki Hospital Board today, said the eduea tion of children in hospital classea should be settled between the Education Department and Health Department. The Hospital Board, to have the situation rectified, decided to make representations about these children 's education to the Health Department to take up with the Education Department. The Taranaki Tubereulosis Association will be asked to assist where possible in arranging for neeessary tuition to be given to children in hospital suffering: from tubereulosis.
