At 3.30 p.m. tomorrow Field Margfia.] Viscount Montgomery of Alamein will arrive at Ohakea by speeial plane from Australia. The party will then adjonrn to the Officers : Mess where the guegts will be entertained at afternoon tea, following which he will motor to Wellington, Apart from the official welcoming party and representatives of the press, thc general public will not be permitted ori to the station. Arrangements have been made foi Viscount Montgomery to drive througli Wellington on Thursday morning. Thc •Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, said that this wonld be the best opportunity for the citizens of Wellington to see' their distinguished visitor and he hoped thc people would talte the opportunity oi lining the route. Field Marshal Montgomery will leave Government Hou$i in the morning for the Wellington citizens' war memorial where he wil! lay a wreath. Should the weather bt •fine an open car will be used.
