COURSE BOGEY INCREASED
LEVIN GOLF CLUB l^IAKES " ALTERATIONS Some minor ' alterations- have been carried out by the Levin Golf Club during the last week, and as a result the bogey . of the . course has been inereased to 72. The alterations are as" follows: — Nos. 11 and 16: The tee has -been moved back about 75 yards and the bogey is now fpur instpad of three. No. 7: The tee has been moved forward and to the left to'avoid as much of the swamp as possible. .No. 15: This tee has been moyed'to the present ladies' tee, whieli is about 15 yards back -and' to the right. No. 9:. The tee on this hole has been moved back (about ,15 yards, making it a 400-yard hole with^ the bogey five instead of four. The committee considers that this will assist all players to a far greater extent than the adjusting of individual handicaps. The draw for .tomorrow is the second round of the Nicholson Cup, and all members are again urged to be at the clubhouse as early as possible for the- progressive draw; which will commence at 12.45 p.m. sharp. - .
