WAIROA, July 10. The sequel to the Tahaenui accident on May 24, when five women lost their lives and another died later in the Wellington Hospital, was heard this morning in the Magistrate's Court, Mr. J. Miller, S.M., presiding. Denby Wiliiam Boyd, driver of the bus, appeared on six charges, five of which were that by negligently driving a bus on the Nuhaka-Wairoa highway he did cause the deaths of Brenda Cary, Daisy Howard, Okeroa Raroa, Sophie Mi'.a and Hine Campbell. The sixth charge is that on May 24 he negligently drove a motor bus, eausing bodily injury to eight passengers. It is anticipated that the case •vill take a full day to eomplete.
