WARNING ISSUED.

Received Monday, 8.25 p.m. SYDNEY, July 7. The steel workers of Port Kembla who were absent from work at the weekend, were warned by the company today that it took a serious view of the position and that diseiplinary aetion would be taken if it occurred again. This follows the ban on weekend work by lCey metal workers at Port Kembla and Neweastle whieh, it is expected, will have widespread repercussions in many Australian industries. Lysaght's Port Kembla works and the Commonwealth rolling mills will not be in full production until tomorrow. The State seeretary of the Australian Workers Union, Mr. R. W. Wilson, said today that the union was nbt supporting the ironworkers at Neweastle or anywhere else.
