HOROWHENUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD Public Notice of Proposed Sanction For Application For Loan NOTICE is hereby given that the Horowhenua Electric Power Board proposes at its meeting to be held on the 22nd July, 1947, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing without a poll under section 15 of the Finance Act No. 2 1936, the sum of £40,000 for the purpose of reticulation and cxtendmg energy in its area. As security for the said Loan it is propo.ed tn strike a rate of one tenth of ld in the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Board's area.
