Miss Tyres' condition is reported as satisfactory." Bull Controls Road Something new in road blockage recently startled motorists on a section of the old Porirua Road yesterday morning. A bull which had eseaped from a paddock took complete control of the road. The few motorists soon realised that the bull did not wish to be disturbed. One motorist came round a corner to find a car rapidly approaching him in reverse. The owner received an urgent telephone call but he only remarked that the bull probably wanted to see if the cars had their new stickers on. The hull could not be persuaded to change his mind till the ranger arrived to drive him back to his paddock. Wellington - Lyttelton Ferry The Union "Steam Ship Company announces -that the Wahine which should have been ready to relieve in the Wellington-Lyttelton service on July 12 will not now be ready to iake up her running until Tuesday, July 15, and passengers booked for the Wahine on Saturday, July 12, and Rangatira on Monday, July 14, should call at the office through which they booked and have their reservations altered for the Rangatira and Hinemoa respectively.
