QUESTIONS FOR CHRISTIANS C°ncerning the Devil . Why say a fallen-angel devil is the cause of sin when God inspired Paul wrote (and we all experience it) "in me, that is in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing . . . a law in my members . . . bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members," Rom. 7 : 18-23? And, "let not sin reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof," Rom. 6 : 12? "Ye shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh (Gal. 5 : 16) and 1 John 2 : 16, "All that is in the world . . . the lust of the eye . . . flesh . . . pride of life." Does not this prove the sole tempter of man is his own lusts, not any fictitious personal .devil at all? Further inform-ation sent to any interested .from H. W. Christie-, McDonald Road, Levin. t
MAN QUESTIONS, GOD ANSWERS (Continued) MUST I PERISH: "God* is not willing that any perish, but that all should come to repentence" (2 Pet. 3:9). HOW CAN I ESCAPE? "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Aets 16:31). IS HE ABLE TO SAVE ME? "He is able to save them to i:he uttermost that come unto God by Him" (Heb. 7 : 25). IS HE WILLING: "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (1 Tim.. 1 : 15). (To be continued.)
