AUSTRALIA'S EXPORTS REACH A RECORD
^ Received Thursday, 0.55 p.m. CAXBERRA, July 3. Australia's exports for 1946/47 will be the greatest in the history of tlie Commonwealth. The total is expected. to be about £250,000,000 or neavlv £100,000,000 rnore than the prewar level. For the eleven months ended May 31, exports' totalled £224,000,000 eompared with £138,000,000 for the same period last year. In the" same period imports rose ' to £l67,000j000 from £144,000,000 t'or eleven months last year. Britain is still Australia's best customer and prineipal supplier with America second. \
